Who is behind the project?

Paul Schlader
- Paul is a certified Q-Grader which is held by less than 1,000 people in the country and it allows him to travel all over the world and score high quality coffee helping farmers earn the highest premiums for their products. His discovered his true love for coffee after he tasted a Ethiopian natural processed coffee back in 2008. His attention to detail and desire to always pursue product excellence has been the driving force behind his work over the last 14 years building Birch Coffee.

Jeremy Lyman

Jeremy has been in the hospitality industry for over 25 years and 14 of those have been spent in coffee shops. His focus on service and bringing a more thoughtful experience to stores along with his ability to captivate audiences has earned him a permanent speaker position with coffee conventions that take place all over the country. His lectures focus on customer service, marketing and industry introductions. Jeremy is always thinking of ways to not only be of service to his customers, but to people who strive to open a shop of their own and continue to push the specialty coffee industry in an upward direction.
He has also recently gained quite a bit of social media traction with his creative “Think You Know Joe” series. Follow @coffeedogguy for more.
